In 2021-2022 Edgewood ISD invited Leslie and Scott Milder to speak at our convocation as well as introduce the Ambassador program to our Edgewood ISD staff. It was from this meeting that we launched the discussion of our vision for a strategic plan. Fortunately, EISD was able to engage the services of Friends Consulting Group, specifically Dr. Scott Niven, and we began the collaboration process.
Dr. Niven and Friends Consulting were thorough, attentive, and responsive to our ideas. They tailored our meetings and discussions specifically to our community wants and needs, creating a process that was fruitful — far from the cookie-cutter process. Our plan is specific, strategic, and action-oriented in ensuring our goals meet the staff, student, parents, and community expectations. I cannot thank Friends Consulting enough for guiding Edgewood ISD in creating a road map into our future.
